From our popular ‘GeoTech’ events; which encompass both hands-on ‘Masterclasses’ and informal knowledge-sharing ‘Meetups’ – and which focus on what you can do with GIS, Open Data and technology; to the insightful ‘Trend Café’s’ that brings us all global trends at the height of consumerism. 

IGNITE HEXAGON GEOSPATIALIGNITE UK Competition Launch, Geovation Hub, 16 March, 4pm – 8.30pm  IGNITE is a competition offering over $250,000 USD in prizes. You’ll learn all about the competition and how to enter, during this collaborative workshop. So, if you’re an entrepreneur, developer or a start-up in need of financial support to help kick-start your business, this event is for you.

TCity scape rend Café: Smart Cities – Mobility, Geovation Hub, 17 March, 4.30pm – 6pm The first of a three-part series of Trend Café events that will focus on Smart Cities. The series will take a close look at three specific Smart City themes, these being: MobiltyResilience and Health. On 17 March, we’ll cover how Mobility in cities can be improved through the use of data and technology.

“Eclipse Converge” – a GeoTech meet-up that will focus on the collaborative working groups within the Eclipse open source community. This meet-up is an interdisciplinary event; bringing together those working on location aware technology, internet of things solutions and scientific tools & computation.
