The new Geovation programme also launched on 3 July. Aimed at developers, innovators or entrepreneurs with a keen interest in spatial data or technology and looking to break into this market for the first time, we can help you develop an idea, taking it from the imagined to reality. The funded programme will guide you through an innovation process focusing on ideas development, product creation and commercial realisation. The programme will take you through four phases over the course of 12 months. Find out more.

Join in the latest Geovation Hub events

We have two Geovation Hub events coming up this month. On 21 July we’ll be holding the first Tech Lab Talk. Join us from 12.30 for an hour-long session revealing how our Tech Labs team built an indoor location mobile app for digital Shoreditch festival, using Bluetooth beacon technology. We’ll also cover routing APIs, showing you how we built a system for pinpointing addresses for emergency first responders.

On 22 July the Trend Café is back at 8 am. This month, we’ll be discussing if the third industrial age is a reality for us all, the limitations of the maker movement and how a brand-led entrepreneurial eco-system can help consumers to ‘make their mark’. And asking: in an age where the artisan lifestyle is being embraced by the masses, how believable and accessible it really is.
