When natural disasters or violent incidents occur, it is vital that organisations can quickly determine what assets, employees or critical business functions might be impacted. However, understanding the risk to business operations or employee life-safety is a slow, manual and error-prone process of querying multiple datasets siloed in different departments and held on disparate data systems, which takes on average over 2 hours per incident.
WatchKeeper maps a company’s assets, employees and critical business functions, alongside real-time risk feeds, empowering executives with the insights they need to support rapid decision-making before, during and after a catastrophic event.
The critical event management market is worth $41.1bn, with a CAGR of 17.5%. This market growth is driven by the rise of IoT and IP-connected systems, allowing organisations to seamlessly understand risks in proximity to their operations and personnel.
WatchKeeper serves this market through a SaaS-based annual subscription model, with premium content from market-leading risk vendor partners.
WatchKeeper has partnered with IBM to offer a free critical event management platform to major organisations, helping them manage storm and flood risks for this year’s hurricane and typhoon season. StormWatch is currently being used by over 25 clients, including Apple, Uber, SAP, Barclays, Thomson Reuters, Verizon, Cognizant, DXC, Levi Strauss, Booking.com, the International Red Cross and the Government of Canada.
