Innovation took centre stage at the UK PropTech Awards 2025. This year’s record-breaking entries showcased the sector’s commitment to transformation through technology, and the successes of Geovation’s Accelerator alumni and Challenge project teams making positive impact across the industry.

The UK PropTech Awards brought together the property and technology community at Stereo, London, for its 8th edition—a celebration of innovation, creativity, and collaboration. With a record number of high-quality applications, this year’s awards highlighted the sector’s growing emphasis on sustainability, digital enablement, and customer-centric solutions.

From the long list of nominations, it was hard to ignore Geovation’s close links across multiple categories. Geovation itself was shortlisted for the PropTech Impact Partner Award, and five of our accelerator alumni featured among the finalists— two of which, PlanningHub and RenKap, are also part of the PropTech Innovation Challenge. In addition, two more shortlisted companies—City Science and Neuron—are members of the Challenge cohort, reinforcing the strong connection between Geovation’s programmes and the innovators driving change across the sector.

Big wins for Geovation-supported startups

Conveyo claimed two major awards:

  • Revolutionising the Consumer Journey
  • Industry Transformation

Their work is redefining conveyancing, making property transactions faster, clearer, and more transparent. By combining expert legal support with automation and AI, it streamlines the home-buying and selling process from start to finish. Through smart technology and proactive legal management, Conveyo simplifies and accelerates every stage of the transaction, delivering a more efficient and customer-focused experience.

MapMortar, an alumnus of our Scotland accelerator, won:

  • Decarbonising the Built Environment

A clear signal of how data-driven solutions can accelerate decarbonisation of the built environment. Its platform leverages virtual modelling and simulation to help landlords and property developers make informed decisions about retrofitting and renovation strategies that cut carbon emissions. By combining advanced simulation technology with actionable insights, MapMortar enables property stakeholders to plan and execute cost-effective, accurate retrofits—accelerating progress toward a more sustainable future.

Other shortlisted innovators included Building Passport, Dr Konrad Rotthege (Conveyo) and Home Sale Pack. While not all took home trophies, being recognised among such tough competition is a significant achievement— especially in a year that saw startups like Home Sale Pack and MapMortar shortlisted for the second year running, proving their enduring contribution to digital transformation.

Empowering Innovators to build, iterate, and deliver

The evening’s keynote explored the challenges and opportunities of technology adoption, with a strong focus on AI and its potential to help the sector build, iterate, and deliver real impact. These themes resonate closely with Geovation’s role as a catalyst for location-based innovation—connecting startups that harness data and emerging technologies with the property sector’s most pressing future challenges.

The awards spotlight the innovators solving critical problems in housing delivery, ESG, and digital transformation. For Geovation, this reinforces the value of our award-winning Accelerator Programme, which has supported over 150 startups since inception—helping founders validate ideas, refine business models, and scale solutions that make a difference.

Alongside our Accelerator Programme, Geovation—in collaboration with MHCLG’s Digital Planning Programme—runs the PropTech Innovation Challenge, an initiative designed to accelerate the delivery of 1.5 million homes in England. This challenge supports the development of scalable, digital PropTech solutions that help meet the government’s housing targets while fostering a new supply-side ecosystem for the sector.

By supporting collaboration between innovators and decision-makers, Geovation is enabling technology adoption that accelerates development, reduces risk, and drives sustainable growth across the property sector.
