Geovation Scotland welcome their 7th cohort

The 7th Geovation Scotland accelerator programme is officially under way. This year we have 6 inspiring proptech and geotech start-ups ready to take their next steps with the support of Registers of Scotland and Ordnance Survey.
Geovation Scotland’s main aim is to support acceleration in location, land and property technology innovation in Scotland. Through our accelerator programme and community, we provide support for business growth and development, encouraging the development of sustainable and innovative solutions that will have a positive impact on real-world problems and boost the Scottish economy.
The companies joining Cohort 7 of the programme bring the total number of early-stage start-ups supported by Geovation Scotland to 39, whom we have now helped to raise in excess of £7.2m in inward investment and additional funding, allowing us to help grow their companies with the creation of over 110 new sector jobs.
Meet the companies of Cohort 7…
Greenflip Homes help investors transform cold, damp, and costly rental properties into warm, comfortable, zero energy bill homes resulting in happier tenants, higher returns, and a healthier planet. Our digital platform sources and analyses properties with high retrofit potential, providing instant energy and investment analysis to capitalise on the zero-energy bill premium.
Project Voxel is an agritech startup using geospatial and spectral imaging to detect early signs of crop stress. Its technology helps growers improve yields, reduce input costs and operate more sustainably.
Lintels helps agents, landlords and housing providers across the UK detect unauthorised short-term subletting across their rental portfolios.
Buying and selling a house ranks alongside births, deaths and divorces as the most stressful life event. It is very often the single biggest financial commitment that someone will make in their life. Despite this the communication and transparency around the delivery of a transaction creates huge frustration and doesn’t meet the customer’s needs.
While it may seem trite there is more communication, understanding of transaction progress and expectation management in the purchase of a pair of socks online than there is for buying a house in Scotland. Technology can and will disrupt the current status quo and we believe that Settlz can help all stakeholders to ‘buy homes better’.
Footprint Bio is a science-led platform helping land-based industries forecast and respond to insect-related risks. Using ecological modelling and geospatial data, we deliver predictive insights on species like midges, ticks, and pine beetles. Our work supports forestry, tourism, conservation, and public health sectors in making smarter, data-driven decisions.
RunV’s core mission is to help runners train smarter, stay motivated, and reach their goals through highly personalised digital tools. Our flagship product is a cutting-edge AI-powered running app that generates bespoke training plans tailored to each individual’s experience, goals, progress, and lifestyle.
RunV uses intelligent mapping technology, allowing users to train based on real terrain, elevation, and route conditions. Their technology enables more effective planning, safer runs, and better performance analysis. Their app can suggest optimised routes, flag difficult surfaces, and ensure users get the most out of every session — wherever they are.

“We are delighted to welcome six new startup companies onto Cohort 7 of the Geovation Scotland accelerator programme. All of the companies joining the programme are excellent examples of how the power of location and land and property data can be harnessed to address real-world problems – from improving transparency around the home-buying process, to predicting behaviours of biting insects to offset their impact on forestry, tourism and public health. We can’t wait to watch these startups develop over the next six months and support them to make a real impact for Scotland’s economy”
Lyndsey Dougan, Head of Innovation & Geovation Scotland
We look forward to watching all six companies grow and thrive over the weeks, months and years ahead and create lasting impact, not only economically but also socially and environmentally.
Join us in wishing the founders every success and welcoming them to what is set to be an incredible year of innovation and growth for them.
