What Could You Build with Ordnance Survey & HM Land Registry Data? Applications Are Open

Applications are now open for our award-winning Accelerator Programme, running in partnership with Ordnance Survey (OS) and in association with HM Land Registry (HMLR). Startups have until 28 February to apply for a place in one of the UK’s leading programmes for founders using location, land or property data.
For more than a decade, Geovation has supported early‑stage and scaling companies building data‑driven solutions across PropTech, geospatial technology and location‑intelligent products. The Spring 2026 programme continues this mission by offering founders enhanced data access, technical support and industry connections that help accelerate product development and unlock real‑world impact.
One Programme, Two Application Routes
The Spring 2026 programme offers two distinct tracks, each backed by national data partners who play a central role in the UK’s property and location ecosystem.
PropTech Track
In association with HM Land Registry (HMLR), this track is designed for startups using land or property data to improve how the property sector operates. This includes solutions for:
- Property transactions and conveyancing
- Valuations and risk analysis
- Land use, planning and development workflows
- Ownership transparency and data‑driven decision‑making across the property ecosystem
Startups building digital tools for lenders, conveyancers, developers, estate agents or homebuyers may naturally fit within this track. With HMLR’s strategic commitment to digitising land and property information, the PropTech track offers founders a unique opportunity to innovate on top of authoritative national datasets.

Location Intelligence Track
Supported by Ordnance Survey, this track focuses on startups using national mapping, movement or geospatial data. For 2026, Geovation and Ordnance Survey are particularly interested in three categories:
Infrastructure – Solutions that enhance planning, coordination or asset management for utilities, contractors or local authorities. This includes products using mapping, asset information or underground data to improve operational workflows and reduce risk.
Transport – Tools that leverage mapping, movement or property data to optimise routes, sites, logistics networks or transport operations, while helping organisations reduce disruption and cost.
Risk & Resilience – Products providing property‑level environmental or climate‑risk insights for insurers, local authorities or emergency planners. This includes models, visualisations or decision‑support tools that help organisations understand and respond to climate‑related risk. Startups that fall outside these themes but still use location, land or property data in innovative ways are also encouraged to apply. solutions that drive smarter decisions in sectors vital to sustainability, resilience, and economic growth.

What’s in it for Founders?
The Spring 2026 programme offers one of the strongest data‑focused support packages available to early‑stage UK startups. Benefits include:
1. Exclusive OS & HMLR Datasets
Founders gain access to a combination of open and proprietary datasets from Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry. This enables startups to validate use cases, increase product accuracy, unlock new features and build data‑rich products that rely on national location or property intelligence.
2. Tailored Tech, Data & Commercial Support
Startups receive hands‑on support from engineering, product, data and commercial specialists who help refine technical architecture, improve data pipelines, shape early product strategy and strengthen customer propositions.
3. £20,000 Equity‑Free Funding
Each company receives up to £20k in non‑dilutive funding to support product development, experimentation and early validation work.
4. Workspace in the London Hub
Founders get 12 months of access to Geovation’s London workspace, including desks, meeting rooms and a collaborative environment to build alongside other innovators.
5. Industry Access & Community Support
The programme includes curated introductions, showcases, events and connections to industry partners, providing a route to early customers, pilot opportunities and expert networks.

Thinking of Applying?
Geovation is looking for teams that:
- Use location, land or property data in a meaningful or innovative way.
- Have clear product or technical needs where the programme’s support can accelerate progress.
- Demonstrate strong founder–market fit and clear understanding of the problem and solution.
- Align naturally with either the PropTech (HMLR) or Location Intelligence (OS) tracks.
