As part of the PropTech Innovation Challenge, this webinar offers prospective applicants the opportunity to engage directly with experts from Geovation, MHCLG’s Digital Planning Programme, and HM Land Registry (HMLR).

The session will provide practical guidance on how to access and apply a range of authoritative datasets and digital tools to support the development of innovative, scalable PropTech solutions that respond to the Challenge’s problem statements.

This session is designed to support potential applicants by offering hands-on insights into:

  • Open data resources: what open source data is available and where from.
  • Presentation of the Digital Planning Programme from MHCLG.
  • HMLR data: open conversation with HMLR.

About the Challenge

The PropTech Innovation Challenge, launched by Geovation in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), aims to accelerate the delivery of 1.5 million new homes in England through scalable PropTech solutions.

  • Up to £100,000 in funding available per application
  • Up to 12 companies will be selected
  • Collaboration opportunities with local planning authorities, industry partners, and housing developers
  • Project delivery through February 2026
