The second GeoVation challenge of 2010-11 ‘How can we improve transport in Britain?’ has now closed. Thank you for posting all your great ideas, of which there are over 150. The quality of entries has been really great and our panel of judges will now select a short-list according to how well the ideas meet the theme of the Challenge and their potential to be developed further at GeoVation camp. See competition rules. The GeoVation camp will be held at Ordnance Survey’s new head quarters in Southampton from 25 -27 March 2011.
Please continue to visit the Challenge Forum to comment on the ideas posted, as well as private message each other. Encouraging comments that you provide really can help to develop the ideas. We will notify you if your idea has been selected and post up the shortlisted ideas here in the next couple of weeks.
We will also be announcing details of the GeoVation Showcase soon – so keep watching this space!
