Geovation is an Ordnance Survey (OS) initiative, co-funded by HM Land Registry. We power collaboration between entrepreneurs and the public and private sectors to support the development of geospatial and property ventures which can generate social, economic, and environmental value.
Our award-winning Accelerator Programme has so far kickstarted the business of over 150 startups, who have collectively raised a total of £130m in funding to date and created 2500 jobs for the UK economy. We’re delighted to open applications to join the Autumn 2023 cohort of startups taking part in the programme.
About the Geovation Accelerator Programme
The Accelerator Programme offers 12 months of bespoke support to help early-stage founders grow their business. The initial 6 months provides more intensive support followed by 6 months of hands-off support. Start-ups receive up to £20K in equity-free grant funding and the equivalent of over £100k in perks during the programme including workshops, coaching and access to data from OS and HM Land Registry.
We offer two application routes, the GeoTech track and the PropTech track:
The GeoTech track of the Accelerator Programme, which is supported by OS, is seeking start-ups in the energy, environment, sustainability, transport, health and well-being, and resilience and protection of life sectors. More information on these areas, as well as examples of startups in our current and past cohorts, can be found here.
The PropTech track, in association with HM Land Registry, is looking for start-ups using land or property data and technology to revolutionise the property industry. There is a particular emphasis on the development of a simpler, user-friendly, and transparent digital process for buying and selling property which will benefit homeowners and enable a world leading property market.
