The Geovation Accelerator Programme, backed by Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry, is now open for applications!
We’re delighted to announce that applications for the 14th cohort of our Accelerator Programme are now open for innovative start-ups to apply! The Accelerator provides workshops, coaching, up to £20K in equity-free grant funding, access to data from Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry and many more benefits, all designed to help start-ups grow. Applications close on Monday 28 February at 23:59 (GMT).
Our Accelerator Programme has two tracks to apply for, the GeoTech and the PropTech track.
The GeoTech track of the Programme supported by Ordnance Survey. Geovation is particularly looking for start-ups using location data to create innovative solutions in the energy and transport/mobility industries, especially if you have a sustainability angle to apply for the GeoTech Track. This year, we have decided to give more direction to our Accelerator call but we aren’t exclusively looking for start-ups only in those sectors.
Any start-up that uses Geodata can be considered as a GeoTech start-up, however, if you’re not sure your start-up is GeoTech, find out more about what a GeoTech start-up is here.
The PropTech track is run in partnership with HM Land Registry, supporting start-ups that use property data to revolutionise the property industry. This track is specifically dedicated to start-ups working in the Property Sector to benefit from specialist guidance and support from experts at HMLR.
SearchLand were previously on the PropTech track, SearchLand is a tool that makes it possible to source off-market sites and fill your businesses pipeline with new high yielding development leads. SearchLand are an excellent example of the type of innovative PropTech start-ups we’re seeking to apply. Find out more about SearchLand here.

Don’t just take our word about the benefits of our Programme, hear what alumni from our Accelerator Programme have said about their experiences!
Urban R+D, who are currently on our Programme told us,
“The Geovation Accelerator Programme has given us the opportunity to learn and grow as business leaders so we can be the ones to steer this initiative towards scalable and sustainable growth.”
Onsee who were on the previous cohort of our Accelerator explained why they joined the Accelerator and how they benefitted.
“At Onsee we’re good at hardware but needed geospatial expertise to win in the cycling data space. Geovation gave us experts and data on tap, and we learnt so much inside knowledge talking to geospatial startups next to our free desk. The Accelerator was a game changer for our company.”
When asked about the best thing of being on the Programme, Veya who were on the 9th cohort of our Accelerator said:
“Geovation’s help in building our network was phenomenal. We now have direct access to key stakeholders at Land Registry and Ordnance Survey and have built fantastic connections with other entrepreneurs on the programme which was hugely beneficial. Access to the wider network has been great, particularly the Slack channel! Further to that we must mention the excellent training sessions, from building an MVP to public speaking, so much was covered in the programme that added a lot of value along the way (and saved us from a lot of rookie errors!).”
