HMLR fund and help the PropTech sector to help improve the property market and make the UK the best place to start a digital business.
HMLR has proudly supported 24 companies through the PropTech track of the Programme since October 2017, across eight cohorts. These companies continue to grow and flourish, supporting the economy and the property industry, bringing innovation to the market.
The Proptech Track supports startups that use property and geospatial data to revolutionise the property industry. Startups benefit from expert property knowledge from industry specialists and support from HMLR and access to open & proprietary datasets from Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, and other partners. Geovation is looking for early stage startups with unique solutions to challenges in the property sector and innovative uses of property data to be part of the PropTech track for the Autumn cohort.
Startups must be:
- Located in the UK and UK registered or eligible to be
- Incorporated or not
- Pre-seed funding

SearchLand is a map-based property and planning data web app for SME developers, planners, architects and investors to make informed property and land decisions. Covering a large quantity of property information including land ownership in the UK and historic and current market values for all property types in England.
Hugh Gibbs, founder of SearchLand, talking about the Accelerator Programme says:
‘The sessions have forced me to think about the holistic aspects of setting up a business. It’s too easy to get stuck looking at the product/platform but sessions on business plans, forecasting, marketing etc have been great for providing well rounded development.’
NOCO Energy provide location-based intelligence for the renewable energy industry. Specialising in processing and aggregating data to accelerate decarbonisation by working closely with renewable energy project developers and investment funds to provide them with crucial decision-making data.
Digihome is a homeowner app bringing all your home information in one-place to provide convenience and control to managing your home. Putting everything together at the touch of a button including internet, heating, lighting, audio visual and security.
Previous startups on the PropTech Track
Building Passport were on the Accelerator Programme in 2020 and since graduating founder Rupert has grown the team to 5 members, successfully raised £250k in additional funding and they are now valued at an estimated £2.5 million. Find out more about Building Passport here.
