Geovation Scotland are thrilled to welcome 4 new geospatial and PropTech start-ups to their funded Accelerator Programme run in partnership with Registers of Scotland and Ordnance Survey.
About the Geovation Scotland Accelerator Programme
Launched in 2019 to support Scottish entrepreneurs, the Programme provides founders with access to land and property data, mentoring, and funding to propel their start-ups to the next level for up to 12 months.
To date, Geovation supports Scotland’s economy with businesses involved in the year-long programme so far raising over £600k of additional funding and investment and 17 full-time jobs.
Student Bubble were on the previous Geovation Scotland Accelerator Programme, they focus on supporting students and property managers in the student rental market. Olivia Dovernor, CEO & Co-Founder of Student Bubble said of the Accelerator “The tailored workshops and time spent on the Geovation programme has really helped to establish our company and, to plan for growth from the start. This all while opening doors to key connections who are at the core of our business model”.
Ready to meet the new start-ups?
The 4 companies accepted onto the latest cohort of the Geovation Scotland Accelerator are:
- PropEco – Founder: Chris Hardman. A platform dedicated to helping property owners though the challenges posed by climate change
- Enjoy The Air – Founder: Kate Barnard. Poor air quality causes adverse effects for both the environment and human health. Enjoy The Air was established to tackle this by providing environmental data and analytics to help cities improve air quality in a way that is increasingly required by the World Health Organisation.
- Sky-Pin Drones Ltd – Founder: James Braid A remote precision data collection company utilising UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles / drones). Their overall aim is to reduce carbon emissions by working with farmers to reduce fertiliser usage through the utilisation of drone technology, software and field micromanagement.
- Grand Bequest – Founder: Katherine Gunderson A property technology company using data analytics, conservation, and sustainability to promote the global redevelopment of vacant buildings.

Registers of Scotland (RoS) is the government department responsible for compiling and maintaining registers relating to property and other legal documents in Scotland. RoS records and safeguards the rights of the individual while providing open access to information on the registers.
